Web statistics including heat maps
A heat map visualizes the click behavior of your website visitors in a similar way to a thermal imaging camera.
Target of the heat map
With this data, you can analyze how your visitors behave on your website and make targeted changes to increase session length or conversion.
Why are heat maps useful?
- measure engagement . For example, if you write online articles and want to know which links are used, use a heatmap. This can show you the click behavior of your readers. If you notice, for example, that only a small proportion of your visitors click on a certain follow-up article, reposition it and make it more visible to your visitors
- measure interaction . Where are my visitors clicking? Are you clicking the right boxes? You can use heat maps to find out if your visitors are taking the desired actions or if they are being held up at a certain point.
- Where does important content need to be placed? Using the heatmap, you can evaluate which areas are heavily frequented and place the content that is important to you in these areas.
- click hotspots : the evaluation of user behavior is directly visible. There is no need to create complicated analyzes as the heatmap can be evaluated quickly and easily.
